About Me

Hi, I’m Raye! I’m the creator/showrunner/executive producer of Crunchyroll Studio’s High Guardian Spice, and am currently developing an original animated drama series with Amazon Prime & Legendary TV. I’m a huge anime fan who loves cartoons, cats and everything cute!

I produced twelve 22-minute episodes of High Guardian Spice — I was at the helm of every stage of production, from leading the writer’s room to recording actors to cutting animatics to attending mixes!

Before I became a showrunner, I worked as a director, character designer, and storyboard artist at Fox ADHD on the shorts team, as a character designer at Puny Entertainment on Danger & Eggs, and as a storyboard artist at Sprite Animation on Tinpo.

I’m a Cuban transgender man, and diversity and positive representation are incredibly important to me, both on and off screen. More than anything, I want to make the world a better place through cartoons! I have a ton of stories I want to tell, and I’m working every day to get them out into the world!
